CHILDREN

The Children's Workforce Strategy reinforces and complements the Pay and Workforce Strategy and it aims to improve outcomes for all children and young people by building a world-class children's workforce. The key strategic challenges across children's services are to:

  1. Recruit more people into the children's workforce
  2. Develop and retain more people in the children's workforce
  3. Strengthen inter-agency and multi-disciplinary working, and workforce re-modelling
  4. Promote stronger leadership, management and supervision.
